The Proverb: At home a mans troubles can never touch him.

The Meaning: That when you are at home you have a sense of security and also other people cant enter unless you permit it and its a mans private little kingdom.


The Masks: I chose to add these masks because they are good examples of the marvelous achievements in art that the Africans introduced with their masks. these masks all have their own story's to tell of their creation and of all the culture that they symbolize. the culture these masks explain is the African traditions and religions involved in making these. When they were created they were not for decoration but for religious purposes
